How to Host a Group Activity using the Sterling Set website

 

Group members are encouraged to organize activities for the group.

It’s a great way to meet new people and make friends having the same interests.

When you organize a group activity, you must follow these simple guidelines:

 

1. Groups may not be used to promote organizational, commercial or business purposes. There is a specific area on this website for promoting businesses and organizations. Please email requests for commercial activities to our advertising department at our email address.

2. All group activities must be open to all members of the group. 

If you want to plan a closed activity, contact individuals directly by messaging them.

To organize your activity, create a post above indicating the following:

What the activity is,

Who it is for

When and where the activity will take place

How group members will identify one another for the activity.

Any costs.

How any costs will be paid.

How to recognize one another:

A simple and effective way to identify other group members when meeting for the first time is to use a white circle as an identifier., Simply cut out and attach a white paper circle to the chest area of your clothes, (Of course, this is optional).
